Forgotten Challenge

In the flurry of all my rejections, the 50k in 30 days challenge was almost forgotten. I must admit, I took the first rejection like a hit in the solar plexus, and for a while I just stopped writing.

Excuses aside, my 30 days word total was 25,114. I managed to finish one novel, a 'Sweet' that remains unnamed at present and I am in chapter 5 (of about 12) of my new 'Medical', working title: 'Take A Chance On Me'.

I think you did remarkably well, especially considering all the other stuff going on in your life at the moment.

Re the rejection - remember, what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger! (or however that saying goes!)

Fantastic effort. You should be feeling very pleased with yourself -- if you're over the deflation that rejection brings. It's hard going sometimes, being a writer, isn't it? But you're tough enough to keep going! Perseverance is the magic word!

Thanks so much for the support. You are true friends.

I know you're right about keeping on with it. Obviously, that's the only way to get there... Wish it wasn't so hard, though.
